Appe Recipe Instant – Traditional Appam Recipe

Appe Recipe: The traditional Appe Recipe is a quick breakfast prepared with very little oil, mixed with rava and green fresh vegetables. So good in taste that even children like it very much. We can also keep it in children’s tiffin with chutney or tomato sauce.

Ingredients for AppeRecipe

Rava – ½ cup (100 grams)

Curd – ½ cup (whisked)

Oil – 2 tbsp

Green peas – 4 cup

Cauliflower – 4 cups (finely chopped)

Green chili – 1 finely chopped

Ginger – ½ (small spoon paste)

Salt – ½ tsp or as per taste

Mustard seeds – 4 teaspoons

Curry leaves – 7-8 (cut)

Baking Soda – 4 teaspoons

How to make Instant Appe Recipe Method

Take out the rava in a big bowl, now add curd and mix. Add finely chopped cauliflower, peas, finely chopped green chillies, ginger paste and salt to the mixture and mix everything well. If the batter looks too thick, then you can mix it by adding some water.

Cover the batter for 10-15 minutes so that the rava is ready to flower. Then we will make appam from it.

Batter is ready, now fry mustard seeds, put 1 teaspoon of oil in a small pan and heat it, put mustard seeds in hot oil, when the grains crackle, add curry leaves, fry it a little and add this spice Put it in the batter and mix. Now add baking soda to the mixture and mix.

Heat the appam maker and pour a little oil in each of its food. Take the mixture with a spoon and fill it with a little bit of food.

After filling all the food, cover it for 3 minutes and let it cook on low medium flame. After the golden brown is roasted from the bottom, flip it over and cover it again and let it cook for 2 minutes. Cook the appam till it turns golden brown on both sides.

Take out the roasted appams in a plate and prepare all the appams in this way.

Rava appam is ready, take it out in a plate. Serve and serve rava appam with green coriander chutney, sweet chutney, tomato sauce or your favorite chutney.

Do’s & Dont’s – Appe Recipe

Batter should not be too thin nor too thick.

While cooking the appam, keep the gas low. Appam will burn on high heat

You can add any vegetable as per your choice.

Eno fruit salt can also be used in lieu of baking soda.
